It is our great pleasure to announce the 21st International Conference on Gettering and Defect Engineering in Semiconductor Technology (GADEST 2026). The conference will take place on San Servolo Island, Venice (Italy), from September 27 to October 2, 2026.

GADEST 2026 will provide an international platform for scientists, engineers, and industry experts to exchange knowledge and insights on the latest advances in defect physics, semiconductor processing, and device technology. We look forward to welcoming you to the unique setting of San Servolo Island for an inspiring week of scientific discussion, networking, and cultural exchange.

Abstract submission and important dates will be announced on the conference website. Prospective authors are warmly invited to submit contributions on topics related to defects in semiconductors, gettering, diffusion, materials processing, advanced characterization, and device applications.
