Abstract:
We present light-responsive microrobotic swarms that overcome the trade-off between microplastic capture and degradation through collective behavior. Reversible light-controlled switching between a clustered swarm state and a dispersed state enables efficient and selective enzymatic hydrolysis of PLA.
