We are very excited to announce that the 18^th Frontiers of Electron Microscopy and Materials Science (FEMMS) Conference will take place from September 29^th to October 4^th, 2024 in Catania, Italy. FEMMS brings together over 120 researchers, 40 invited speakers, and a distinguished lecturer to present and discuss their latest advances in the field of electron microscopy in the materials sciences. FEMMS follows the Gordon style format, where oral presentations are restricted to scientist who are internationally recognized as the top experts in their fields. The abstract contributions are allowed in the form of poster presentations and are open to all participants.  Accepted posters will be presented during the daily poster sessions.

The call for contributed posters has now opened, and we would like to invite you to share the attached announcement with your colleagues and within your group.

Abstracts can be submitted using the template available via https://femms2024.it before the deadline of May 31^st, 2024. All submissions will be evaluated by the FEMMS scientific committee.

Since space will be limited at this conference, please make sure that you register and submit your abstract early to secure your spot at this year’s FEMMS!

Early Registration will also be open until May 31^st, 2024.

We look forward to seeing you all in Catania later this year at the first FEMMS meeting since 2019!
