Desideriamo informarvi che sono aperte le candidature/candidature per l'edizione 2024 del premio PRISM. La scadenza per la presentazione è il 30 giugno 2024.

Il CNR-ISM ha istituito il Premio Istituto di Struttura della Materia (PRISM) per riconoscere i contributi significativi dei ricercatori nel campo della Struttura della Materia negli ultimi cinque anni. L'obiettivo è promuovere la ricerca fondamentale e applicata nei campi della scienza dei materiali e della fisica di base atomica, molecolare e dello stato solido.

Il premio è diviso in due categorie:
- PRISM Senior per candidati di età superiore a 35 anni,
- PRISM Junior per candidati sotto i 35 anni.

I vincitori di entrambe le categorie avranno l'opportunità di utilizzare le risorse del CNR-ISM per un progetto di ricerca e saranno invitati a tenere un seminario in un evento dedicato al tema del premio come ospiti del CNR-ISM.

La commissione PRISM, composta dai precedenti vincitori e dai Direttori delle Filiali CNR-ISM, valuterà le candidature e selezionerà i vincitori.

We would like to let you know that nominations/applications are now open for the 2024 edition of the PRISM award. The submission deadline is June 30th, 2024.

CNR-ISM has established the Istituto di Struttura della Materia Prize (PRISM) to recognize significant contributions of researchers in the field of Structure of Matter over the past five years. The aim is to promote both fundamental and applied research in the fields of materials science and basic atomic, molecular, and solid-state physics.

The award is divided into two categories:
- PRISM Senior for candidates over 35 years old,
- PRISM Junior for candidates under 35 years old.

Winners in both categories will have the opportunity to utilize CNR-ISM resources for a research project and will be invited to give a seminar at an event dedicated to the theme of the award as guests of CNR-ISM.

The PRISM committee, composed of previous winners and CNR-ISM Branch Managers, will evaluate the applications and select the winners.
